One more thing, or maybe two:
1. Marx explicitly identifies the "deduction of labor for common funds,"
i.e. the social character of labor.
2. The "withdrawal" is not based on notions of profitability, or status, or
productivity, or education--i.e. doctors or managers get more. Rather,it is
simply based on the concretely egalitarian recognition that the social
working day consists of the sum of individual working hours. And Marx makes
explicitly clear, in Capital, in Contribution to the Critique of Political
Economy, one man's or woman's hour is worth the same as another man's or
woman's.
