Whether peak oil theory is valid or invalid, it seems on the surface but
just another debating point in a debate that no one is listening to.
What's the political point?

It will never be the basis for any mass mobilization; in fact it seems
to me to have the same _political_ defect that conspiracism does: it
leads to endless debate with no conceivable link to any sort of mass
mobilization.

True or false, it simply bores me, and bores most of the non-marxists
out there we need to mobilize in mass struggle.
