This is a translation of a speech by Rafael Cancel
Miranda, a hero of the
Puerto Rican movement who spent over 20 years in
prison for shooting
up the US House of Representatives in 1954.  One of
the bullets hit Gerald Ford
in the butt, the part of Gerald that was still exposed
while the rest of him
was hiding under a desk. To hear Don Rafa speak in
person is a gift. How many
people can give a speech that makes you laugh AND cry?
