Actually, the Polish economy has not improved at all... except perhaps
in comparison the bad Jaruzelski and post-Jaruzelski days,  but those
who "gast-arbeited" in UK and other countries made out well enough to go
back.

I'm not sure about the automatic availability of  life long benefits for
those citizens of the "new" EU countries in the "old" EU countries.
