Hah! That reminds me of that anecdote related by James P. Cannon in
"History of American Trotskyism", when the SWP was first getting off the
ground. It seems that the party published a pamphlet that was missing
the first 3 pages, but sold it anyhow with those 3 pages as a kind of
appendix. Or something like that. That led the New Yorker Magazine to
call attention to it in their gossip section with the heading "They are
going to take over the world?"
