[Marxism] Peak Oil and Energy Imperialism

Since my position on this matter is well known, I won't go into a point by 
point counter-argument .  Just one small observation:

Is it not odd that an article surveying Energy Imperialism, and the recent 
history of oil price, oil supplies, oil production by a Marxist, in a 
Marxist publication, never once analyzes the role of profit in the history 
of those prices, those supplies, that production?
