[Marxism] Afghan student faces death sentence for downloading woman's rights article

This is typical idealist garbage of right-wing journalism. It is
concealing the actual reactionary character of the Afghan government and
juridical system by depicting it as an objective irrationality based on
Islamic law. Then, it arrives to the natural conclusion of this logic:
"confrontation between Afghanistan and the West": Clash of autonomous
ideas about world exempt from class or power struggle. Let's say, Parwiz
Kambakhsh is now facing with death sentence by the sole reason of
downloading an article about woman rights. Does it indicate a cultural
tension between Afghanistan and West? No. Just remember that a couple
months ago five Muslim students have been convicted by a court of UK for
downloading radical Islamic texts. Therefore, it actually demonstrates the
universal similarities of rightist reactionism.
