As it's what I'm doing myself, I'm duty bound to suggest reading Marx's Capital itself: before reading what people - which includes Mandel, Brenner, Mattick and all - say Marx said, I think one should start with what Marx did say. My only regret with regards to this thought is that it took me 25 years to realise it.
