Les writes: "Its been about a day since we changed how email is delivered.
any complaints, for example, lengthy delays between the time an email is
dated and the time you deliver it? anybody having trouble receiving digests?
anybody receiving mail again that had mysteriously disappeared some time
ago?"

This reminds me of the old journalistic story about the flood that
devastated some Pennsylvania valley many years ago. The only reporter on the
scene was a wet-behind-the-ears tender-green newbie stringer, and the world
waited with baited breath to hear news of the devastation. Finally, the
first words of his dispatch came down the telegraph line, painfully slow,
letter by letter...

"GOD SITS ON A LONELY MOUNTAIN TONIGHT ..."

Immediately his editor shot back:

"FORGET FLOOD. INTERVIEW GOD. SEND PICTURES."

Never mind the effing Marxmails. Outlook reports that you sent your email at
8:47PM, and it was received HERE at 8:46PM the same day. If we can take that
from a minute to a few minutes, we can make enough money to buy out the
entire capitalist class AND --even more impressive-- insulate Louis against
more extortionate rent hikes.
