Erm, I'm not sure. I agree with your first proposition, but I don't
necessarily think that it answers Shiraz's question. Your second
proposition I will have to think about.

Nevertheless, given the subject, and given that Carrol's posting
Bakhtin, in a subsequent message I will post something on language in
general that I've been working on, which impinges on what you and
Carrol say, as well as on the overall theme of objects of knowledge
and such forth.
