But I wouldn't rule that out completely. If you watch the excellent 
documentary on Nader, "An Unreasonable Man", you will see that he 
decided to run as a 3rd party candidate only after it became obvious 
that the Democrats would refuse to nominate anybody who was supportive 
of the kinds of initiatives Nader was involved with. Although I doubt 
that Edwards will end up as the Democratic Party nominee, there will be 
enormous pressure on the left to back him in 2008.
