Walter Lippmann :

I support Cynthia McKinney because, though she doesn't even call
herself a socialist, her effort represents a possible start of a
new kind of politics, at least in embryonic form. It could be
that and I'd like it to be that if it can.

Barack Obama is, regardless of whatever his subjective intentions
are (we don't know much about those, of course), a creature of the
capitalist Democratic and Republican school of politics, and little
more can be expected of him than that.

CB: Actually , if you read his _Dreams from my Father_, he's a left,
political activist in background and training, seemingly posing as a
centrist Democrat.

Also, his mother married an Indonesian as her second husband, and O was
in Indonesia in the immediate aftermath of the slaughter of Communists
there.

Karl Rove may not be wrong about the big O.

O might be a "Manchurean Candidate" only a "Nairobi Candidate" this
time. Big O the Mau-Mau Candidate

Viva Cynthia McKinney !

Still, it's necessary to
see what's happening as it is, and not as some would like it to
be, either by exaggerating it's progressive aspects, or, on the
other hand, by ignoring those same aspects.
