[Marxism] A clarification of my view of Kosova independence and Kosova "independence"

The essence of the difference, it seems, is that Mike K is calling for
NATO/UN etc troops to leave and let Kosovo be (as an independent state,
presumably, with all the caveats that apply in this neo-colonial world,
a la East Timor). On the other hand unless I've been reading wrong,
Feldman and Proyect, et al, call for Kosovo to be returned to Serbia.
Which army will enforce this upon the people of Kosova? The Serbian army
or the NATO army? How is either progressive or helpful?
Mike Karadjis has been calling, on this list, for the NATO/UN occupiers
to leave Kosova for years. Usually when he asks for clarification from
other list members like Louis what they think of this he has been met
with stony silence. Is this because the comrades realise that their
so-pure opposition to everything the imperialists might want or use
leads them into a tactical impasse?
The issue now is: if Kosovo becomes independent (as is the aspiration of
most of its population) are we to respect/accept that, or advocate
forcible re-conquest? Regardless of the past history in 1999, or for
that matter the DSP's alleged 1980s support for the Ustasha (I've heard
a better one -- young members of the Socialist Alternative here in
Melbourne go around saying the DSP supported the Chinese government's
massacre at Tienanmen Square! Maybe Louis ought to use that one too.)
