That's just my point.  Projecting that white male support for Obama
had to represent a reactionary warping of the process misses much of
the reality here.  I think it represents a genuine taste for change,
for something new.  And I think it represents that for 80% of Obama
voters in any category.

CB: I'm with you. With all the limitations, it represents a taste for
change, a protest vote.

Of course, we are in the world of what "could be" and I place zero
confidence in the candidate or his party.  The expectations of change
have their own dynamic.  And that's what I was arguing for....

And let's hope it's not Rooseveltian.
