A question: does anyone know if those "delegates from Florida and
Michigan" actually exist? To be elected, delegates have to be on the
ballot, don't they? (that is the case in New York, at least) Were there
delegate names on the Florida or Michigam ballots? And don't delegates
have to be approved by the candidate under whose name they are listed?
And even if there were delegates "pledged" to Mrs. Clinton, how could
she
have approved them without violating her pledge not to participate in
those irregular primaries? So if she tries to to impose those
"delegations"
that would be the sort of thing that in 1912 made Teddy Roosevelt so
mad that he had to be refrained from storming the podium and shooting
Elihu Root. Of course, if it came to that I would be delighted--it
would
mean millions and millions and millions more votes for Ralph Nader!
