<Dear friend, there´s no false humility at all. In Argentina we have a
saying, that any serious person must avoid to become a member of the
"batallón de animémonos y vayan" (the "let´s gather courage and YOU go
batallion"). Sometime I have been told that in English there is a
similar saying, about the batallion of those who fight till the last
drop of YOUR blood.

Never, never, will you find me there.

And yes, I would love an interplay with Groucho. But he would run over
me so many times that I would serve just as a mattress ever since.>

Yeah, I understand completely, but I'm in no sense part of a
battalion on the front lines. My cover's blown, so I've placed myself
in semi-retirement. Plus, I'm just now recovering from a bicycle
accident in the fall in which I broke my leg. Walking with a cane and
working while injured left me with quite a bit of back pain.
Fortunately I had short-term disability coverage, so I was able to
take a full month off from full-time work, (30 sessions weekly)
although I did come back to work part time to do seated sessions
after two weeks. My pelvis is torqued, and I have to do 30 minutes of
trigger point work on myself with a wooden soup spoon every morning
just to get my mind off my own pain, so I can focus on other people's
pain. So I need remedial physical therapy, in conjunction with
Pilates to rebuild my core muscles and stabilize my pelvis. I'm also
receiving weekly rolfing sessions from a co-worker. My navel is still
pointing off-center and to the left, but materialism tells us that's
more due to my uneven muscular mis-alignment than any political
posture. I still lean to the left in my mind, but my body needs to re-
center itself.
