(Adolfo is a Peruvian Maoist who successfully defended himself against

Here things still are rolling towards the Supreme Court - after a break 
of 45 days due to a strike of the judiciary staff for better pay and 
conditions (lousy salaries and damn overwork).

When the Supreme Court- barring the greatest stupidity - actually 
rejects the Prosecution's appeal against the High Court's unanimous 
decision and puts the final seal on the case, I would then be 
practically the only one in the political scene here who is not under a 
cloud of criminal prosecution. Two former presidents, the current 
President, the vice-president, the leader of the opposition and his 
maverick brother and umpteen other civilian and military figures are now 
enmeshed in god knows how many human rights and corruption trials.  It 
is a real mess!

However, I will have to wait a little longer and hold my horses until 
conditions are ripe to let them have the facts between the ears. In 
politics it is not enough to be right. It is necessary others see for 
themselves that you are actually right.
