[Marxism] The shifting ruling class mainstream

Well I don't know who annoys me most on this Obama thread.  I think though I
will nominate Mark -"I agree with everything you say ..."  and then the
stiletto in the kidneys when he thinks you might be cornered.

Let us go back over the salient points that need to be made again apparently
.  For a start this list, and frankly I am surprised at this, is not
dominated by Obamaphobes.  It is rather dominated by the Obamaphiliacs and I
will name them again - Fred, Joaquin, Charles, Walter and "I agree with
everything you say" Mark Lause.

Let me also point out that the Obamaphiliacs are linked to the vast majority
of world citizens.  The love and admiration and even adoration of Obama is
everywhere.  So Fred, Joaquin, Charles, Walter and "I agree with everything
you say" Mark Lause are in a very solid majority.  The capitalist press
agrees with them and the intellectuals and economic geniuses who have
brought us global warming and economic disaster agree with them too.

So we few, "Obamaphobes" are swimming against the tide even on this a
Marxism discussion list.  What we are trying to do is arouse everyone to the
danger that Obama poses.  He has emerged talking of "unity and sacrifice".
Let me now throw in the teeth of Fred, Joaquin, Charles, Walter and "I agree
with everything you say" Mark Lause,  that as a Marxist I know and you used
to know that when a bourgeois politician talks of "unity and sacrifice" then
the working class is going to be led to the slaughter.

Shame on you and shame on you all who have joined the cheer leader squad for
Obama.

I have been accused of lowering the tone of this list by my "smears".  Let
me now say that nothing lowers the tone of Marxist politics  so much as the
impulse to reformism - the desire above all to come in from the cold and to
say and do something that will meet with the approval of the majority i.e.
with those whose views dominate this world - the ruling class.

There are enough high fives for Obama; there has been enough chest bumping
in the ranks of Skulls & Bones at his election; enough champagne corks have
been popped by the elites over the appointments he has made.  The ruling
class do not need us to be in thrall as well.
