The National Bureau of Economic Research finally called it a recession today, stating that the big R began in December 2007 [kind of follows after rates of return on investment peaked in 2006].

So let's see:  EU, Japan, UK, US in recession.  Ukraine, Iceland, Latvia, Hungary experiencing something a bit more than a recession.  Russia?  something more than a bit more than a recession.  

India?  Brazil?  China?  Next meat in the fire.
