I can't speak for Walter Pretzel's nemesis, Sarcastican, but I have been on demonstrations against the Brazilian consulate in SF organized by the Haiti Action Committee -- despite my disagreement with that group's support for Aristide. I, along with a member of the Haiti Action Ctte. and a number of Chileans, also picketed Michele Bachelet when she spoke in Berkeley a few months ago. Haiti was one of the three main issues raised in the latter picket, along with "Socialist" Bachelet's government's attacks on the Mapuche people and on public educaton.

Leaving aside the question of time, I wouldn't picket Evo or the Bolivian government _inside the United Snakes_ at this time unless I could be sure that it would be clear that I was picketing against his collaboration with imperialism, and not against whatever actions he's taken that offend the imperialists. Most likely, I'd give out a leaflet instead, since you can get more nuance into a leaflet than a sign.

Somewhat similar considerations would apply to China, a question I'm not going to get into now.
