[Marxism] [ Marxism] Inflation Delivers a Blow to Vietnamâ?Ts Spirits

Nestor,

I am talking about retaliation in the international capital markets for
defaulting on the debt.

Argentina was able to establish quite favorable terms for redemption of
debt. International capital flows were not embargoed.

If it is your contention that behind the current conflict over exports taxes
on foodstuffs is determination of international finance capitalists to "get
even," to recoup losses, you need to show it.

It might be true, but there certainly should be some evidence, not just that
international finance capital supports the agricultural turmoil, but that it
is doing so for the specific reason of retaliation.

If I remember correctly, and again relying on my memory as I get older is no
sure thing, I recall you endorsing, praising the default process and even
asserting some pride that Argentina was able to do this on its terms, and
experience so little in the way of economic retaliation.
