I'm 67. I knew Shane Mage back in 1962-1966 when we were both
in the faction of the SWP that later became the Spartacist League.
He was a few years older than me and already a Marxist theoretician,
albeit a not-necessarily-orthodox one. So you certainly can't attribute
his rejection of the "conspiracy theory" canard to "the lack of theoretical
and ideological formation among lefties of [your] generation", Daniel!
