Oddly, I've seen classes on "Post-Marxist Theory" taught, however, in
Political Science Departments.

As for economists: could it be that an additional reason they stay
away from teaching marxist economics is that marxist economics is
usually not quantitative? (Economics departments tend to have have a
quantitative bias).
