[Marxism] Exercise is Bad For You

Well, I'm sorry if my sense of humor is darker than most peoples' but I
would recommend that all Marxists take the time to learn a little bit from
the Surrealists and their great explorations into black humor.

What I find funny, or amusing, is not the death of Hayes per se, and I could
care less about his ideology. The funny things are:

1. The extended on-list thread about obesity and exercise and diet and
sanctions against Cuba, and

2. The fact that he was found next to his still-running treadmill, doing
what he could, obviously, to cheat death, only to be caught in mid-stride,
so to speak.

Putting those 2,3 things together-- kind of an exercise of another
Surrealist mechanism, objective chance, struck me as ghastly and amusing at
the same time.

There's no accounting for taste, or humor.
