Look, if I went to the Cuban mission and got a briefcase of dollars and
instructions to support Cynthia McKinney, how long do you think it would
take me to be arrested?
I speak from experience on this matter. In 1987 I visited the Cuban
Mission once or twice to discuss sending volunteers to Nicaragua. Within
a month, the FBI conducted a sweep against returned Tecnica volunteers
accusing them of being part of an espionage ring.
No other country that has been the subject of the kind of aggression
that Cuba has would act otherwise. In fact compared to how the U.S. or
any industrialized bourgeois "democracy" behaves, Cuba is a citadel of
freedom.
