Evidently, Jimmy Carter was paying attention. He is scheduled to meet
with Meshaal next week, much to the dismay of Bush, State Dept., and,
most recently in my inbox, David Horowitz. Evidently this has meant
that Obama, who Carter supports in the primary, has been forced to all
but denounce him. It looks like there actually might be some logic to
it--both the meeting and the immediate resistance to it--if it could
make headway.
