Huh? I'd like to see some statistical backup for this statement. I live
in upstate New York, and in my experience, I see native born European
Americans doing all kinds of physical labor, including myself.

And lets not forget that in order to drive the native workers out of the
meat packing industry, for example, there was a union busting campaign
of considerable magnitude. Not unlike what is now going on in auto.
