I'm getting a little tired of ad hominem attacks. The other day it was Walter, 
today Joaquin:

Eli seems to think by carping on the former he will erase the latter. No he
can't. Life is like that, full of all sorts of contradictions.

Apparently one can no longer post an article on this list without asserting 100% 
agreement with the article. Sorry, it doesn't work that way. I post things I 
think people will find interesting, informative, and thought-provoking. When I 
have something to say in my own name, as I certainly do, you'll know it. 
Otherwise, kindly refrain from criticizing me for the opinions of others.
