Few, quick points

No mention  of the Chicago newspaper (Sun Times or Tribune) thorough investigations
of the Rezko affair and conclusion that Obama had set new standards of dislosure for
a politician. No evidence after months of investigation of any favors done. 

Difference with *stated* position of George Bush in 2004. Maybe not that great. So
what? George Bush lies. 

Lieberrman and Obama have diverged; Lamont is supporting Obama, I believe. let's check. 

On bankruptcy and asbestos law I don't believe Obama has voted against class action
lawsuits. Plus, we'll need a careful analysis of what's at stake here. 

Goolsbee never said that the anyone should not take seriously Obama's interest in
stronger social clauss on the behalf of labor and environment. And since Obama is
not publically a protectionist, there was never any reason to take seriously the
idea that Obama is a protectionist, i.e.. advocates tarriffs or import restrictions.


Obama called to end deregulation of financial markets and called for new kinds of
regulations. He followed the lead of Stiglitz here. His call for regulation stronger
than Clinton's and was exactly what Krugman had critiqued the candidates on. Then
Obama delivered,and Krugman still took cheap shots, e.g. saying that Obama did not
support Dodd's legislation. 

Obama's race speech included the most detailed historical account of black
oppression ever given, as far as I know,by a major presidential candidate. He was
willing to throw his own white grandma under the bus if that is what America insists on
doing with Jeremiah Wright. That's racial equality.

Obama has support of Gitmo lawyers due to material and legislative assistance of habeas corpus,
he did not vote for Kyl Lieberman, he wanted to restrict the use of cluster bombs after Israel's recent war 
against Hizbollah.
