I wasn't aware that Socialist Register editor Greg Albo had anything to 
do with Richard Gere. Has Gere written for Socialist Register? I wasn't 
able to find anything by him myself, but I would love to read a Marxist 
analysis of "Pretty Woman" in terms of commodity fetishism.
