Hopefully, one day, the penny will drop that the main enemy  is US  
imperialism and that attacking China is a luxury in the big picture
 With mugs like Richard Gere and Mia Farrow  attacking China, it  is  a good 
idea for their future  prospects but the left should not get dragged into the 
popular sport of  China Bashing
Even the FT admits today, that 300mn Chinese have been lifted out of  poverty 
in  a generation, the figure is more like 400mn in 10  years
The Beijing to Lhasa   railway, an incredible feat of  enginneering has 
frightened the   Bhuddist regime to death and this is  their counterattack
Building Socialism in a country of 1.3bn is not a task I would want Chinese  
critics, who would run at the first sound of gun fire to undertake
It failed in the Soviet Union because of rigid thinking, the Chinese have  
learnt the lessons
