Bollinger was truly boorish in his opening remarks. His accusation
that Iran is killing American troops in Iraq was almost laughable -- a
true sign that Bollinger sees himself and Columbia U. as the think
tank for American occupation of Iraq.

Most importantly, as someone else has mentioned, there was no
discussion by Bollinger or questions from the audience about how to
avert war with Iran.

Ahmedinajad made the telling point that there are U.S.-supported
terrorists in his country and the United States sponsored Saddam
Hussein's use of chemical and biological weapons against Iran.

His speech, when it is published, is a must read.
