For once I'm actually in two minds about this.

First of all, the need for a united front approach is
so obvious as to be beyond belief. The existence of
four(?) rival sectarian coalitions is simply fucking
crazy, and there are no legitimate excuses for it.

But... I've been watching the backbiting that has been
going on in Australia in the aftermath of the APEC
protests, and I'm tempted to cut ANSWER some slack at
the moment. To put it simply, the knives would have
come out if the protest had failed, if it succeeded,
or if it hadn't happened at all.

ANSWER, is, at most, only part of the problem. Their
critics are part of the problem too.

The Australian "debate" indicates this strongly. The
APEC protests *were* a united front project - and the
knives still came out.

I doubt the US would be any different.
