[Marxism] "Power to Save the World: The Truth About Nuclear Energy"

I am not convinced by Dave Walter's passionate and constant promotion, on the development and use of nuclear power.

The capitalist owners of these nuclear plants, tend to be the same owners of the oil and coal companies. To miss sight of this small point - on who controls and benefits from the means of production, seems to be a continuous thread and oversight, in all these pro-nuke emails.

As for believing that Chernobyl, Hanford etc., are of the past and can not happen again - seems not convincing to me. I do not have the same trust that Dave Walters has in that industry and in people not making mistakes. If someone make a mistake in weaving a cloth, not too many people are poisoned, as compared to mistakes with nuclear power.

Let the scinetist spend their time creating new safe sources of energy and if they succeeed with nuclear power - then we can discuss this in the future soviets. But for now, this discussion has no benefit, except to promote the view that we should be happy with nuclear energy. And whom does this benefit as a focus, instead of what to do with advancing and developing labor forces.
