Let me repeat. I don't write articles attacking or defending nuclear 
power in the abstract. Same thing with coal or oil. I do identify with 
struggles against particular nuclear power plants, like Seabrook or 
Shoreham. I also identify with struggles against strip mining and for 
miner's safety. Same thing with struggles against Shell in Nigeria. My 
interest is in politics, not in what Hopson called helping the 
industrial system chug along.

Marx was referring to the dissolution of feudalism. I don't think that 
we are facing such a problem today, except perhaps in the Kingdom of Tonga.
