What "Marxists"? Well, I assume everyone west of the Carpathian
Mountains. So...Marxists are not known for supporting the production of
insulin...or any medicine, "under capitalism" either? I'm certain Engels
would of scolded you something fierce Louis for using this method.
Louis should, perhaps, stick to writing apocalyptic novels as he
suggested, after all, such scenarios exist only his imagination and have
little to do with science or engineering. Meanwhile, how many people die
everyday in China because of coal and it's insane rate of growth? Ah,
can't real and present dangers, can we?
Like Marx stated in 1856:

"Steam, electricity, and the self acting mule were revolutionists of
a rather more dangerous character than even citizens Barbès, Raspail
and Blanqui."

PS...thanks Walter for the view of Fidel. Interesting. Did you know
Chavez is considering a small reactor from S. Africa for the Orinoco oil
fields?
