[Marxism] A workers revolt is inevitable. Whether it succeeds depends on all of us and in belief in our own united power.

Comrade Ben:

Bonnie,

I think Naveen and Mark are right on this one, it's basically try or die. Either, we work to reposses the party from the small clique of demo-greens and open up that loathesome avenue of engaging in U.S politics or we don't and in 20 years or so we regret it and end up waxing nostalgic in the lefts failure to influence the corrupt two party system when we had the chance. Think of it this way if we fight theres a chance (however residual that may be) we can actually promote change and open up a space for the mass of people yearning for an alternative to the pro-war pro-capitalist status quo. if we loose we will have to do what we've become so accustomed to doing that is regroup. Bonnie I am an advocate of creating a new international party because I think the time is condusive to it but if the Greens are working now we cannot refuse to support them in search of our own personal non established intrest. Think of it, if this fails we'll be looking for their support why
neglect to give ours now? Thats almost as hypocritical as being a green and supporting the democrats.

  Ben
