Comrade Ben: It is sad to see how we can argue for a week about the democrats but nobody post any thing about my proposal for a new international. In short supporting the democratic party is at best a progressive (baby)step towards some form of twisted social democracy. Blacks turned to the democrats after the collapse of the black power movement only cause they advocated for the welfare state. What quantitative gains did it yeild? A decade of gov dependence followed by three of degradation. Due to the parties tacit acceptance of the econmic order every tactical step foward will be pushed three steps back. Ben
