The author Ian Williams is a complete idiot. At an Orwell panel at the 
Socialist Scholars Conference in 2003, just before the invasion of Iraq, 
he wagged his fingers at what he perceived to be the radical leftists in 
the audience and said, "Wait until the war starts and Saddam begins to 
use those weapons of mass destruction, then you'll see how foolish you 
look." He of course turned out to be the fool.
