I would say this: She is not a typical Green Party booster. In fact, I 
wonder if she is running to really build the GP, which I doubt, or for 
her own program which differs, I think, from the GP.

McKinney unconditionally endorsed Malcolm Suber for city council in New 
Orleans AND his Reconstruction Party. Suber ran a campaign that, per his 
own words was a "working class campaign against the capitalist 
politicians". (The St. Louis Chapter of the GP also endorsed his 
campaign). It is interesting that she is lending support to the 
Reconstruction Party on the one hand and wants to run for Prez in the 
Green Party on the other.

I think McKinney is someone in transition...clearly not part of *any* 
wing of the Democratic Party anymore. Should be interesting to watch her 
campaign inside the GP. It could take on a dynamic all it's own.
