[Marxism] LA "alternative" newsweekly's downward spiral

Still a very nice guy, though somewhat mystical. He sold his original
print shop to a pair of SWP members, Bob and Alma Strowiss, for whom
it was a source of income for the rest of their lives, located in the
Maywood suburb of Los Angeles, now a predominantly Latino community.

Two wonderful, salt-of-the-earth people. The printed forum leaflets
for the SWP and other left groups for many years, until they were
expelled from the SWP with the rest of our generation in 1983-4.

Art Kunkin's daughter is also an activist today, writing reports on
Oaxaca, and doing sound-recordings for KPFK and other things.
