I'm sorry, I forgot I was dealing with Maxists.  Yes, a quote on
record certainly trumps years of hard work doing grunt work, as well
as leading, that brought us concrete advances against the hegemonic
Democratic Party in Chicago and directly supporting candidates
(hispanic, black, and white) who challenge the progressive Democrats.

My intent was to defend a real person, and you're talking about a
quote that represents some archetype within your Marxist fantasy
frame.

Take your "Marxist Left" and shove it.  I'm not some specific
manifestation of your phantasmatic petit-bourgeois deformation of real
Marxists.  I assure you, I have sufficient critical grey matter to
avoid getting sucked into your game of pretending you are Marx or
Lenin critiquing those who would lead the workers down the garden
path.
