[Marxism] Cynthia McKinney Announces Run for President

The "Ruthless critic of all that exists" (except, apparently, white foreskin
privilege) opines: "Actually, no... she wasn't being harrassed by a cop, per
se. She wasn't wearing her  congressional ID badge  and she didn't go
through the metal detector, and  the cop asked her to go through the metal
detector.  She refused  (and some say that she punched the cop, though she
denies it).  If a Congressman is not wearing her ID badge/tag, how can a cop
be expected to know that she was a Congresswoman?"

She walked right past the metal detector, as she was entitled to do. A male
pig, I mean capitol police officer, grabbed her shoulder from behind, and
she self-defended herself from the outrage by hitting him with the cell
phone that she was talking on.

Capitol police officers are REQUIRED to know AT A GLANCE each and every
member of Congress. There is no requirement that Congresscritters wear
badges (staff yes, congresscritters no -- they're the boss). The claim that
he didn't recognize her is simply an admission that this porker was a racist
dog who refused to recognize the deference due to sister Cynthia as MY
elected representative because she is female and Black. 

And he got much less than what was coming to him. I'm only sorry she didn't
put the pig in his grave, or at least in a hospital. All the white
commentators on TV and in the newspapers --including the ones disguised as
Black folks-- talked about how terrible this was. But there was a new young
Black woman from Mississippi who had just happened to have started to work
where I do when this happened, fresh out of college, first person in her
family ever to get into college or get into this kind of "professional
track" job. And I think she summed it up in one word. What she said when
this came up when a bunch of us were eating lunch was that McKinney was
"righteous."

Because this thing about males representing white authority grabbing Black
females has a certain history in this country. And McKinney's action said,
more eloquently than words even could: NEVER AGAIN.

That the pig press organized a lynch mob against McKinney is predictable
enough. 

That some people in this list don't *automatically* take the side of the
sister on this is shameful. 

This is a SOCIAL system of WHITE and MALE supremacy. That sister Cynthia
automatically, instinctively rebuffed the aggressor -- I can think of no
higher testimony to her character. It may have been impolitic. It was used
against her to mobilize the racist white republican base in DeKalb County to
vote in the Democrat primary against her, and thus cost her the election.
But it was 100% genuinely righteous.
