Gary from Australia, on one of my "reasons for optimism":

I am an Unreformatted Believer in Permanent Revolution. "National-
popular regimes" are not just -and they are- a rejection of
neoliberalism. They are also the doorstep to ever bolder political
developments. Socialism included, of course, provided we socialists
show in facts that we are the best defenders of the basic goals of
popular patriotism and turn it into both a civil struggle or war
against every domestic Quisling and a national-revolutionary struggle
against imperialist powers.
