Most extensive discussion I know of immanent critique in Marx is in 
Patrick Murray Marx's Theory of Scientific Knowledge. For example, 
difference between left Hegelians and Marx  understood in terms of 
the latter's achievement of a truly immanent critique. For immanent 
critique also see Peter Stillman
"Marx's Enterprise of Critique," in J. Roland Pennock, ed., Marxism 
(NOMOS Series; New York: New York University Press, 1983), pp. 252-76.
  Between them  one will get a near comprehensive textual analysis.
