You've named your new organization 
"People for Humanity"—what exactly does that mean?

We wanted to come back in a humanitarian way, and 
it's to help people who have been hurt by the corporate, 
imperialist, militaristic America. We've been doing this 
work all over the world. We went to South Korea to work 
with people whose rice fields were being taken away by 
a base expansion. We've done work in Venezuela, Italy, Cuba....

Who would you like to see elected president in 2008?
I like Dennis Kucinich when it comes to issues like 
imperialism and stopping the military industrial complex. 
I like Ron Paul even though I don't agree with him on everything.

What's the earning power of a prominent lefty activist 
these days?
Well, I earn money from my speeches and my books, but 
I certainly am not profiting. I have expenses, and 
I have three kids. I put one through college and 
now am putting another one through college.
