In order to fully understand the meaning of Kirchner's trip to
Mexico, some additional points:
(a) it would have been easier for him to meet the Mexican bourgeois
in search of investment by not confronting the USA
(b) while he is working abroad for the unity of Latin America, in his
own country the American Embassy is the spider at the center of the
hub of attempts to coallesce the opposition
(c) any step ahead towards the incorporation of Mexico to the Latin
American Unity is in and of itself a blow to the interests of the US
of America; such Mexico automatically becomes the forefront in a
continental confrontation, which brings the line of defense of the US
bourgeoisie to its own frontiers (including Southern USA), not to
Northern South America
Nothing in the above seems to be too revolutionary, doesn't it?
That's the good thing: revolutions are always unexpectedly original.
