I want to urge comrades not to waste time in these sort of 
tit-for-tat exchanges with Andrew. We know from his 9/11 posts how 
consumed he can become by such pet hobbyhorses. This is not really 
the best use of Marxmail. My suggestion to Andrew is to find the time 
to post a substantial analysis of electoral politics rather than 
these banal one or two sentence chatroom type contributions that 
appear for all the world like a comment on atrios.com. He is a 
sociology professor, after all, who has written for peer-reviewed 
journals. I wonder if he is just slumming here sometimes.
