Jane Wyatt, a three-time Emmy Award-winner for her
portrayal of the patient, understanding housewife and
mother on the classic 1950s family situation comedy "Father

Wyatt also was labeled as having been "prematurely

States entered the war.
"I attended a concert by the L.A. Philharmonic calling for
a second front against the Nazis," she said. "I don't know
why that was held against me, because [Franklin] Roosevelt
was calling for a second front at the same time."
