[Marxism] Dawkins in Times Book Review

Yesterday's NY Times Book Review had an awful front page review of Richard
Dawkins' wonderful new book promoting atheism:
  http://www.nytimes.com/2006/10/22/books/review/Holt.t.html?em&ex=1161748800&en=549c6d1a6cf34351&ei=5087%0A
(first chapter of the book at:
  http://www.nytimes.com/2006/10/22/books/chapters/1022-1st-dawk.html?ref=books)
The reviewer, Jim Holt, has no apparent credentials, and the whole tone of the review is a whiny "Yuh-HUH, there is TOO a God!"
(see another insipid piece of his at http://www.slate.com/id/2075653/)

This stands in marked contrast, by the way, to the mature review by George Will of Brooke Adams' book on the Founding Fathers' secularism and deism. Will (and a quick Google seems to show this is a pattern with him) is intellectually honest enough to admit the facts even if it's a liberal stating them:

P.S. There's more, in the Letters section, on the I.F. Stone controversy, including a good one from D.D. Guttenplan:
